In New York State wildlife rehabilitation is done on an all-volunteer basis. This is a very expensive endeavor as we have to purchase feed, medicines, caging materials, enrichment articles, as well as pay for veterinarian bills.
Due to changing regulations in New York State, we are being forced to expand in an unanticipated direction, by bringing fawns into rehab. Due to the mild 2015-16 winter, the rehabilitation season has begun early. We are predicting a large increase in the number of animals this year, so every penny counts.
Please consider donating in support of these efforts, we operate exclusively on your generosity and the donations we receive.
